I’m Éric Martinez, a wedding photographer in Provence, based in Carpentras near Avignon.

My approach is discreet and fluid. I focus on spontaneous moments and gently guide you only when needed, especially during couple portraits, to achieve a natural result, even if you’ve never posed before or don’t enjoy being photographed.

 

I work on a continuous hourly basis, defined together according to your schedule, to ensure a coherent and relaxed coverage of your wedding, without interruptions or unnecessary constraints.

 

I mainly work in Provence, in the Vaucluse, Bouches-du-Rhône, Gard, and Drôme.

Light, at the heart of my work

I construct my images around the most flattering light possible: sunsets, shadows in the middle of the afternoon, cloudy skies that soften faces. Even though I retouch all the photos, I make sure they are already very beautiful from the moment they are taken.

When possible, I scout the location (or anticipate the sun's trajectory) to know where and at what time the light will be best, and guide you at the right time for couple photos and certain key moments.

Where I can be involved in your wedding in Provence

Based in Carpentras, Provence, near Avignon, I regularly work in the Vaucluse, Bouches-du-Rhône, Gard and Drôme regions. I assist couples getting married in a variety of venues, such as Provençal farmhouses, estates or country houses, adapting to the atmosphere and organization of each wedding.
