SABINE & JONATHAN WEDDING IN THE ALPILLES
Sabine and Jonathan married in Châteaurenard. Their portraits were made in Les Baux-de-Provence, in the heart of the Alpilles. These galleries follow the preparations, the outdoor ceremony, the portraits and the celebration with their guests.
THE PREPARATIONS
The gown from Le Secret d’une Mariée in Carpentras hanging in an olive tree, Sabine’s hair and makeup by Eva Henriet and Végétalement Provence, her bouquet by Aux Bouquets de Jules, the buttons fastened down her back: the story begins before the guests arrive. For Jonathan, someone close adjusts his bow tie and buttonhole. I capture these gestures up close, then the faces around them.
THE CEREMONY
Sabine walks between the guests, then the speeches follow one another beneath the trees. Jonathan’s smile at the microphone, Sabine’s tears, their kiss and their loved ones’ embraces shape this outdoor ceremony in Châteaurenard. I also watch the guests: their reactions belong to the story as much as what happens at the arch.

Sabine and Jonathan’s portraits led us through the lanes and to the foot of the rocks of Les Baux-de-Provence. An archway, steps, stone façades, then the landscape beyond. For your wedding, I choose the time according to the light and refine the spot on site. My guidance stays simple, so the session remains a pleasure to live.
GROUPS & COCKTAILS
Sabine and Jonathan are lifted by their loved ones before joining them around Nicosax’s saxophone and on the dance floor. This gallery brings together group portraits and the moments when everyone lets go. I plan the order of the groups with you in advance; on the day, everything flows, with room left for spontaneity.
THE EVENING
The mood rises among the guests, Sabine and Jonathan laugh together, then come the dances, led by Michel Sabatier of M’Event’s with Nicosax on saxophone, and the cake. I follow the couple and those celebrating around them, moving between wide views of the room and portraits taken at the heart of the party.
