ESTELLE & GUILLAUME, A WEDDING IN SARRIANS
Estelle and Guillaume married at Malemort-du-Comtat town hall, then at the church in Venasque, before the evening at Château Bois d’Arlène in Sarrians. They chose me on a recommendation. A day across three venues, prepared together a month and again two weeks before; the next morning, they were already discovering their first images.
AT MALEMORT-DU-COMTAT TOWN HALL
Outside Malemort-du-Comtat town hall, Guillaume welcomes his loved ones, children run between the guests, then Estelle arrives, bouquet in hand, in a gown from Les Mariées de Maena in Orange, with makeup by Secrets de Beauté in Carpentras. During the ceremony, I position myself to see the couple and, behind them, their families’ faces.
THE CHURCH IN VENASQUE
At the church in Venasque, a hilltop village above Carpentras, Guillaume waits for Estelle at the end of the aisle. In a church, I stay discreet: a few views of the nave to set the scene, then close framing on their hands as they exchange rings. After the kiss at the altar, they walk out to their loved ones’ applause.
COCKTAIL HOUR AND THE RIBBON BOUQUET GAME
Estelle and Guillaume arrive in a white convertible at Château Bois d’Arlène, an organic wine estate in the Vacqueyras appellation. After the first canapés, Estelle takes her place at the centre of La Ronde des Rubans, bouquet in hand. I tell this game in two parts: the whole circle, then the hands pulling, the laughter and the embrace that follows.

Estelle and Guillaume wanted to take their time. Not used to the camera, they let me guide them step by step on the terrace and along the château’s paths, in the low sun, between cypress trees and golden grass. A calm session, as they described in their Google review.
DINNER AT THE CHÂTEAU
As night falls, the château’s stone walls glow around the floral designs by Le Jardin de Nadège, and DJ Lio opens the party. The speeches move everyone; Guillaume laughs with a little girl in his arms. After the gallery, Estelle chose a 42-page leather and acrylic album, designed together. Her words on seeing the photos: “Thank you so much, the photos are superb!”
